Leophim, eh? I love your titles for books. They're always so imaginitive and invoke a strange feeling within me as to what the story might be about. I loved the title Lanternfly too, just as much as this. They're so, so creative.
Have fun with the editing.

w00t Go Ben! That's so awesome, dude! Just thinking of finishing a book fills me with such excitement; you probably celebrated like fucking crazy once you were over your expected and understood exhaustion.

I'm probably gonna cry when I finish DOTE. Out of sadness and happiness. Did you feel sad at all? I get so sad when I think of finishing a story, especially a one-shot series (only one book, I mean), because it means saying goodbye to the characters. :[ But at the same time, it's exciting! /ramble

Seriously, though. Congrats, dude. Here's an Internet and e-booze for you. /confetti

170,000 WORDS! *whistles*. That's a lot of writing.
Editing for me is always the period where I wish I could find a baton and beat myself senseless. It's where creativity ends and analysis begins; and it pisses me off. I was lucky with The Eclipsing Umbra in that I only had to write the edits on the page and had a friend to type it in, but I still prefer the writing. It's also often the part where I think I do the least. I'm terrible when it comes to pacing and characters and continuity and all the really important stuff (editing, not (hopefully) writing), but I can nearly always pick up on gramatical and spelling errors.
I wish you luck though with editing this beastie. Have fun.

Woooooot! That's so great to hear, and I hope you enjoy the big rush of happiness that I get whenever I finish a book. Often, for me, writing the last line makes me slave over it for about 20 minutes, because it always makes me worry about what the last lines will be. I can't imagine how long it will take to write the last lines on TDU, as it will be the final lines of a trilogy! Anyway, take a breather, settle down, and celebrate in every way you can think of!!!!!!!!!!!! You deserve it! (and wow, that's a lot of exclamation marks!)

Happy Birthday for Tuesday! Here's hoping what chances you had to really enjoy it were as good as they could be.
Good to see the writing is chugging along.
